Trustees are responsible for managing the church’s property, finances, and legal affairs, ensuring everything aligns with the mission of the AME Zion Church. They may also perform Steward duties if no Steward Board exists.

Property Management: Oversee care and maintenance of all church property, ensuring it’s suitable, safe, and meets the needs of the congregation.
Financial Oversight: Manage the church’s financial assets, including budgets, gifts, trust funds, and insurance coverage.

Strategic Planning: Support long-term planning for church growth, including property improvements and financial strategies.

Assist with seating and ensure comfort.
Collect offerings and handle them properly.
Maintain order and assist with any emergencies.
Help with Communion when needed.
After the Service:
Assist with cleaning and tidying the sanctuary.
Thank guests and offer warm farewells.
